For kitchen, bathroom and shop furniture the edge is a weak point: moisture can penetrate at the transition from the top layer to the narrow surface and cause swelling.
The solution in the pass
Lc 2/55 HydroTec agent is sprayed onto the transition area at the very end of the edge banding machine – after the buffing wheels – with the Ultra-Thin nozzle. It penetrates, the excess evaporates without residue; after 24 hours it has fully soaked in. The area gets a water-repellent (hydrophobic) effect.

Versions
In addition to Lc 2/55 there are the versions Lc 2/56 and Lc 2/57 with different VOC content. We will be happy to clarify with you which suits your application.
Note: the water-repellent treatment is not an anti-mould treatment and contains no biocidal active substances.
