The BRUSH-tec® SF – Our solution for the perfect surface finish

Our largest finishing unit to date is the BRUSH-tec® SURFACE, or SF for short. Developed as our solution for surface finish problems, it can be adapted to your individual needs: whether before stacking furniture parts, before surface inspection or after processing in a drilling line – with the BRUSH-tec® SF you ensure dust-free, clean surfaces exactly where you need them. Flexible installation options – portal design, cantilever or stand – allow individual integration anywhere in your machine line.

Available in seven working widths from 600 to 2,350 mm, the unit clearly stands out from the competition, in particular thanks to its double belts and infinitely variable speed control. The parallel-running cleaning brushes ensure much more efficient cleaning and perfect surface quality, whether the surface is smooth or structured.

We are particularly proud of the integrated nozzle technology, which makes applying our LcM® cleaning agents very easy. Connected to the CLOU®, our cleaning agents developed specifically for surface brushes can be applied directly to the workpieces. In addition to the low-VOC Lc 1/700, we offer the VOC-free Lc 1/300 as an antistatic cleaning agent. Both prevent the brush and workpiece from becoming statically charged.

Integrated nozzle technology in combination with our fluids

With nozzle technology installed as standard, the BRUSH-tec® SF takes surface processing to a new level. Connected to our CLOU® system, LcM® cleaning agents can be applied easily and precisely. Our antistatic cleaners, developed specifically for flat brushes, are particularly effective: they prevent brushes and workpieces from becoming statically charged.

Depending on the application and installation location, flexible installation options allow us to adapt the unit to your machines. In addition to integration in portal design, mounting via cantilever or stand is also possible.

Direct surface contact makes the difference

Compared to other units, the direct surface contact of the BRUSH-tec® SF makes the biggest difference. While the brushes of other systems work without touching the workpiece, our brushes remove dust and other dirt particles directly from the surface – even from structured surfaces.

Automatic measurement of the workpiece thickness

Thanks to an integrated sensor, the BRUSH-tec® SF features automatic thickness measurement. The brush is adjusted automatically and independently of the line control.
