Aspiring mechanical engineering technicians proudly present their upgraded version of the BRUSH-tec® ES

Over the past three months, Thaddäus Hein, Jan Philipp Enns and Hendryk Pries—all students at Carl-Severing-Berufskolleg für Metall- und Elektrotechnik—have worked on a more compact version of our existing BRUSH-tec® ES. Their project was titled “Designing a disc-brush unit for finishing on edgebanding machines.” They also succeeded in implementing several technical improvements.

The project was carried out in close collaboration with our Engineering and Technical departments and came to a successful conclusion with a presentation at the college on Thursday. We’re very grateful for their interest in our company and products, and for the fresh ideas the three of them brought to the project. We wish them every success as they complete their further training and in all that lies ahead!

We’re especially pleased that Thaddäus would like to continue his journey with us from September. He’ll be joining our design team full-time—meaning we can look forward to more valuable encounters and fruitful exchanges like this every year!
