The BRUSH-tec® EXS – Our narrowest unit designed even smaller
With the BRUSH-tec® EXS, a fitting abbreviation for EDGE EXTRA SMALL, we are expanding our unit portfolio with a newly designed version of our popular BRUSH-tec® ES. Even though our EDGE SMALL can fit into almost any machine thanks to its small installation width of just 110 mm, we still wanted to create a solution for special cases where even the ES does not have enough space. We now proudly present the BRUSH-tec® EXS.
The unit is positioned on the top roller (top) and the chain guide rail (bottom) so that it no longer needs to be mounted on the machine base. Since a tripod no longer needs to be integrated, the BRUSH-tec® EXS takes up considerably less space – it’s a real space saver with the same capabilities as our BRUSH-tec® ES.

Our BRUSH-tec® EXS is especially versatile and can be customised with numerous adjustment options that allow the unit or premium disc brush to be adjusted independently on each axis.

Our LcM® nozzle technology is optimally integrated and positioned to ensure that the appropriate chemical agents, such as our specially developed BRUSH-tec® agent, are used in the best possible way.

With the finely adjustable height setting, you are able to set the BRUSH-tec® EXS very precisely and, above all, with little effort. The height adjustment screw is clearly labelled with a scale and is easy to reach thanks to its placement on the unit.
When it comes to edge processing, the BRUSH-tec® EXS is just as impressive as the EDGE SMALL and also uses the same tools. Thanks to its adjustability, you can turn or tilt the premium disc brushes in almost any direction. As a post-processing unit for edge working above and below the edge, it both cleans the surface and works on the edge band at the same time – a key feature for structured workpieces in particular.
